Sprague: ::sits back down as the whole ship shudders while getting into transporter range:: "You know..." ::picks up a PADD::

Key: "What's that?" ::takes another bite::

Sprague: "This promotion was supposed to be for Mack, but I can actually give it to any officer on the ship." ::takes a slurp from his milkshake:: "Congratulations, Lieutenant JG Key!"

Key: "I don't know what to say Captain except for maybe... the next round is on me!" ::goes back over to the food replicator to get two more sundaes::

Sprague: =/\=Attention crew. After displaying incredible intelligence, drive, and initiative, Ensign Don Key is hereby promoted to Lieutenant J.G., effectively immediately.=/\=
