Co-helmsman: "Your place in line: One!  If you prefer, you can give us your combadge number and we'll get back to you as soon as our technicians are free."

Vale: "V-A-L-E."

{USS Albion, Main Engineering}


Vale: ::Walks towards Shuttle Bay, notices sounds of party coming from Engineering::

::Door slides open.  Inside there's a party going on.  Music on loudspeakers, steaks sizzling on grills, and lots of people standing, talking and eating::

Grexx: "Welcome, Lt!  Can I offer you a steak?"

Vale: ::Takes plate with steak and mounds of potato salad and coleslaw:: "What's going on here?"

Grexx: "Co-helmsman told us it can handle everything in Engineering now.  The crew is optional."  

Vale: "Why is the closet smoking?"

Everyone: ::turns to look at closet::

::Smoke curls up::

::Fire sprinklers activate, drenching everybody::

Vale: ::Dripping::  

Vale: ::Takes a bite. Chews::  "Could do with a little less water."
