How do you do it?
Location: USS Albion
Timeline: Present
Sprague: =/\= Commander Key, please meet me in my ready room as soon as you can… ::pause:: … and bring the pizza. =/\=
Key: “… how did you…?”
Sprague: =/\= Sprague out! =/\=
Key: ::Looks suspiciously upward:: “Computer, has the captain been listening in this whole time?”

{Captain’s Ready Room}
::Sprague stands by the viewport as Key enters. Sat on one of the couches, already present, is Commander Andrews::
Sprague: “Please tell me that still counts as pizza.”
Key: “Barely, sir.”
::Sprague gestures for him to sit. His tone shifts::
Sprague: “I’ve called you both here because we’ve received a distress signal from near the Kessik Expanse. The transponder belongs to the USS Hathaway.”
Andrews: “The Hathaway was scrapped years ago.”
Sprague: “Exactly.”
::An image of a battered Excelsior-class ship appears on a screen on Sprague’s desk.::
Key: “So either Starfleet lost a ship…”
Andrews: “…or a dead one just called for help.”
