Scans Ready

OFF: Good start everyone!

ON: (U.S.S. Albion - Bridge)

A few of the senior officers had now left the bridge and went into the Captain's ready room. This included the First Officer and the Chief Science Officer. It was a little odd that she had been asked to run scans on the Nebula for a few reasons. First, the Nebula had been known commodity for awhile. Many ships had come in, and the Nebula itself would cause interference with the ships sensors as well as their view screens and the normal radiation that one would find. An analysis of the current sensor sweeps of the area confirmed all of these facts, as well as a few pieces of debris and an normal amount of space dust. The debris itself could not be identified at the range they were at, and either bring the ship in closer for a narrow band would be in need, or bringing it onboard the ship. Genno was not told if there was any specific to be looking for, and could not find anything. It seemed very much a status quo.
The other reason she thought it was odd that this request was made to here was the fact that this seemed more of a science issue, then a tactical. Compiling all the data, from the the point before they entered the Nebula, the break point and where they were now was then downloaded onto a PADD kept under the console. A small beep signaled it was down, and with a quick grab she made her way to the Captain's ready room. As she arrived to the room, the doors opened and Captain Sprague made his way past her, almost ignoring her existence.

"Captain?" She questioned as he made his way into the Turbolift and disappeared. Her must of had a confusion to it, as she entered the Ready room. Greeted by Commander Andrews and Ensign Mack she handed the PADD over to the Executive Officer. Before she even had a chance to say anything she was immediately interrupted by Mack.



"Lieutenant Geeno...may I ask a question? It may seem strange to ask. But do you remember coming aboard? Do you remember what Starbase we came from ? I don't seem to remember any of that. And I scanned ship's systems sort of superficially. We are under way with a course laid in that appears to have been loaded and engaged by Fleet, which seems odd to me. I guess I want to ask you how much of this you might already be aware of, since I don't want to waste your time and focus on things you already know. And I don't want to presume to violate chain of command either. I did mention some of this to the captain. I do not think he is well. I suggest we report his condition to sick bay. What do you think?"

Genno: "Of course I remember coming onboard... I've been here for three weeks."

Andrews: "Yes, Ensign Mack, report to sickbay. I want doc to check you out--make sure you're okay."

Mack: "Yes, sir." ::leaves::

Andrews: "Genno, any chance the Nebula could be causing this strange behavior?"

Genno: "I don't think so, but I could do some more tests."

Andrew: "Please do."



Genno nodded in agreement and left the ready room and headed back to her station. She made a side note about the weird behavior of both the Captain and Chief Science Officer. Genno remembered that there was a few other science officers on the ship and put out a call to any of them for assistance.
