Grallator: ::Hands her a stack of waffles and some fresh-squeezed right-from-the-replicator orange juice::

Vale: ::Digs in::

Grallator: ::Waits::

Grallator: ::Whispers:: "So what do you think of our current mission?"

Vale: "Our mission"?

Vale: ::Whispers:: "Also, why are we whispering?"

Grallator: "The Bridge Pizza Index is the lowest it's been in months."

Vale: ::Gapes:: "Seriously?"

Grallator: ::Nods:: "I sent up only one pizza yesterday."

Vale: ::Turns around. Realizes Ten-Forward is empty:: "Where is everybody?"

Grallator: ::Dries glasses:: "We're on a mission."

Vale: "So?"

Grallator: "Everybody's pretending to be busy before the senior officers start looking for 'volunteers'."

Grallator: "More pancakes?"
