Timeline: Just Before the Tractor Beam

Andrews: ::runs and rolls La Forge style under a lowering wall; taps comm badge:: =/\=That's it!=/\= (So much for a complete ship) =^=Lieutenant Genno, please send a message to command about our current situation, and that we may need assistance, but only once I get on the bridge=^=

Genno: =^=Commander, we have a slight problem=^= ::Genno says as the star drive does not explode as it was supposed to::

Andrews: =^=What is it Lieutenant=^=

Genno: =^=The auto destruct appears to have been deactivated remotely, unless-=^=

Andrews: ::interrupts:: =^=Unless he didn't beam into the brig after all, I'm going to check the brig for the Captain's comm badge, in the meantime, scan the star drive for the Captain's life sign, and belay the order about the message. Let's wait and see if we can make it through this=^=

Genno: =^=Aye sir=^=

Andrews: "Computer, please deactivate Captain Sprague's command codes" ::starts running to the brig::

Computer: "Deactivating the command codes now"

Andrews: ::combadge chirps::

Mack: =^=[back at science station dialogue]=^=

Andrews: =^=Acknowlegded, and please reestablish the force field in case Sprague is on the battle bridge=^=

Mack: =^=Aye sir=^=

Andrews: ::Arrives at the brig and enters, and faces the officer on duty:: "What have we got?"

Security Officer: "We are not sure, sir, it appears nothing beamed in at all"

Andrews: (it might be what i think it is) "I think I know what it is" ::crouches in front of one of the holding cells:: "His comm badge" ::taps comm badge:: =^=Lieutenant, it is confirmed, the Captain is still on the battle bridge, I'm on my way to the main bridge=^=

Genno: =^=Aye Commander=^=

what will happen now?

Side note: I was writing this when Ensign Mack posted his post, so I incorporated his dialogue to me as if it were through a comm channel, so I hope that's alright.
