progress with field generator

mack has been working on his scanners and attempts to further take control of battle bridge systems.
he appears to have made some progress.

on:
"commander. I believe I have successfully established a containment field around life signs on the star drive battle bridge VIP quarters area. the life signs appear to be asleep, human. I assume that is the captain. I do not think he will be able to leave those quarters as long as the field holds.

meantime I have established a com link to the large container in the star drive cargo bay. I do not have the clearance to open the security locks. I suggest you try sir. I think there is an
asset there that we might further use.

just to answer your earlier question, the reason I knew about these items is that I did a personal inspection of those areas before the separation and after I left the sick bay.

some of that information is available to your com station.

I will continue scanning and attempting to assume control over more star drive and battle bridge systems. At this point we could also attempt to re-unite the saucer and star drive, since the
containment field will make that maneuver transparent to the captain at this point.
